Our Work – Implementation

Milestones:

We are very excited to announce the recent Proposition 84 Grant awards, in which the Inyo-Mono region was awarded $1,075,000!  Work is currently underway with the Department of Water Resources and our fiscal agent, Central Sierra RC&D, to complete administrative tasks required prior to the signing of the “official” grant agreement.   We expect to have the agreements signed and projects underway by this fall (2011)!

Future Plans:

  • Apply for future rounds of Prop. 84 Implementation funding.
  • Seek other sources of funding for priority projects in the region.
  • Submit feedback on Round 1 Implementation proposal process to DWR.  View draft letter here:  Round 1 feedback letter to DWR 031511
